Hold’ em for advanced players - Sklansky and Malmuth
This is without doubt one of the best Texas Hold’em books ever written. However, this book is not for beginners. If you are not a poker novice, but have played for a number of years and built up the required playing experience, then this book is for you.
First part of the poker book
The first part of the book is about starting hands, position games, calculating basic pot odds etc. This first part is good to master if you want to seriously improve your Texas Hold’em poker game to a relatively high level.
Second part of the poker book
The last part of the book is about how to play particularly difficult hands, and new players will without doubt have to spend a long time on this section. If you do, you will benefit from a clearly improved game.
This is an excellent book.
